Meet Your IMG+ Mental Performance Coach

Dr. Greg Young

Upon completing his PhD in Sports Psychology and Motor Behavior, Greg served as an Instructor in the Department of Kinesiology at Western Washington University (WA), Senior Lecturer in Sport Coaching & Sport Development at Liverpool John Moores University (UK), and as Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at James Madison University, while providing mental performance training services to Collegiate athletes. Greg originally joined IMG Academy in 2019 as Assistant Head of Mental Conditioning, working with boy's soccer, girl's tennis, and golf programs before becoming Manager for IMG+ Coaching and Development. Greg is a keen golfer and soccer player and lives in Bradenton, FL with his dog, Millie.

What Your Typical Week Will Look Like

  • Complete two short lessons a week at your own pace, whenever it fits into your schedule.

  • Share, connect and learn from other student-athletes like you in the virtual locker room.

  • Join your IMG+ Mental Performance Coach and your new teammates once a week in a live Team Huddle to discuss what you've learned throughout the week and how to put it into practice.

  • Who is this course for?

    This course is for high school aged student-athletes looking to build skills that can help them achieve their goals in sports and life. All sports welcome!

  • How long is the course?

    The course takes place over four weeks. There will be five live sessions with your group and your coach, as well as on-demand lessons for you to complete on your own time.

  • What if I can't make every session?

    Since the course is only four weeks, it’s important you attend as much of every session as possible. This helps ensure you’ll get the most out of the material and creates an unbeatable dynamic with your new teammates that fosters growth and learning.

  • Will I have private access to my IMG+ mental performance coach?

    Your IMG+ coach will be available to you online to answer any questions you may have! If you’re interested in pursuing private 1-on-1 coaching in addition to the coaching you’ll get through the course, you can learn more here: https://www.imgacademy.com/plus.

  • What is the refund policy?
